TOVE is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means parts of the service do not meet the requirements; those parts are listed in section 3.

We do not claim full conformance. No external audit has been carried out, and a conformance claim without one is a claim anybody can disprove with a browser.

Automated testing with axe-core across eleven public pages — home, pricing, demo, courses, blog, sign in, sign up, forgotten password, terms, privacy and this page — in both light and dark mode, so twenty-two views in total.

Manual keyboard-only review of the first twelve focus stops on the home page and in the demo, checking that the focus indicator is visible at every stop.

The method is self-evaluation. Automated testing covers roughly a third of the WCAG criteria and none of those requiring judgement. A page not mentioned below means the tool found nothing, not that the page is accessible.

Contrast (WCAG 1.4.3, level AA). Our primary colour with white text measures 3.67:1 where 4.5:1 is required. That affects every primary button with small text in the service, including the checkout buttons. The demo page additionally has grey and status-coloured text down to 2.01:1. 216 elements across the audited views — four of them on this page, which is therefore not exempt from what it describes. Moving to a darker blue resolves the first and largest part in one change, and that is what we are doing next.

Target size (WCAG 2.5.8, level AA in WCAG 2.2). 24 controls on the demo page are smaller than 24×24 pixels — some as small icons, some as wide rows only sixteen pixels tall. Hard to hit on a touch screen or with reduced fine motor control.

Nested controls (WCAG 4.1.2, level A). Eight collapsible panels on the demo page contain other controls. A screen reader cannot reach the inner ones.

Focusable elements without a name (WCAG 4.1.2, level A). The keyboard walkthrough stopped on four elements on the demo page that have no text. A screen reader announces only that it is a link.

Hard-coded English in the home page footer. Two links show English words even in Swedish.

Text size can be set between 88 and 150 per cent in settings, and the choice is saved to your account and follows you to the next device. The brief has its own scale on top of the global one.

All animation is disabled when the operating system asks for reduced motion.

Light and dark mode are available and follow the system setting.

Every public page now has a main landmark, and the pages with a navigation bar have a skip-to-content link as their first focus stop.

The page language follows the language selection, so a screen reader reads Swedish text with Swedish pronunciation.

This section exists so the absence of a finding is not read as approval.

Everything behind sign-in is untested: the dashboard, portfolio, watchlist, chat, briefs, history, settings and onboarding. That is most of the product.

No review with a real screen reader (NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver) has been done. Everything above is measured in code, not heard.

Zoom to 200 and 400 per cent has not been tested, nor has 150 per cent text scaling on a small screen.

The audit ran at desktop width. Mobile and touch are not covered.

Payment happens on Stripe's own pages and is outside our audit.

If you hit something you cannot reach, we want to hear about it even if it is already listed above. A description of what you were trying to do is more useful to us than a testing tool's output.

Write to [e-post skyddad]. We reply within five working days and tell you either when we will fix it or why we will not. If you need something done in the meantime that the service will not let you reach, we will do it for you.

The Swedish Act (2023:254) implementing the European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025 to, among other things, e-commerce services offered to consumers. Services provided by microenterprises — fewer than ten employees and no more than roughly two million euro in turnover — are exempt. J-Hoo AB is a microenterprise, so TOVE is not currently covered by the Act's requirements.

We publish this statement anyway. The exemption rests on our size, not on our users' needs, and it ends the day the company grows past the threshold.

The supervisory authority for e-commerce services under the Act is the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS).

TOVE makes no conformance claim under the Americans with Disabilities Act. What we do instead is state the defects above openly, with dates, and answer what is reported through the channel in section 6.

An accessibility page claiming more than has been measured is not protection. It is a claim that can be disproved, and therefore worse than no page at all.
